STORYLINE :

Kim Sum is an autistic but exceptionally talented software developer who creates an AI-powered dating app called Somebody. The app becomes hugely popular, but its success is soon overshadowed by a series of gruesome murders. All the victims have one thing in common — they used the Somebody app before they were killed. Sum, emotionally detached from the world but deeply connected to her creation, becomes entangled in the investigation. Her childhood friend Gi-eun, a wheelchair-bound police officer, and their mutual friend Mok-won, a shaman, begin to suspect a link between the murders and the app. Enter Sung Yoon-oh, a strikingly handsome and enigmatic architect. He crosses paths with Sum through the app, and they form a strange, intense bond. But unknown to Sum, Yoon-oh leads a double life — he is a serial killer who uses the app to lure and murder people who reflect his own twisted traumas and desires. As their relationship deepens, Sum begins to uncover Yoon-oh’s dark nature. Yet, instead of pulling away, she finds herself drawn to him — fascinated by his emotional vulnerability and brokenness, mirroring her own isolation from society. Haunted by past trauma and struggling with their moral boundaries, the characters spiral into a psychological and emotional confrontation. The line between victim and accomplice blurs, and Sum must confront the consequences of her creation — and her own capacity for darkness.
